A house or plot of land is also considered a relatively non-volatile, solid investment. However with the recent housing market crash leading to global economic problems, many people are not finding this to be true. Yet the fact of the matter is that land will continue to be a stable, valuable asset to any owner. In fact, purchasing a home right now is the most beneficial time due to the low prices of repossessed and foreclosed homes. Many buyers are finding the asking prices of homes they previously thought to be too expensive much more realistic due to this.

For these reasons, it is a better option to buy a home than rent if you are at a point in your life where you can settle down and truly make your house a home.

Online clocks are something that most business have nowadays. As most businesses have their work being done on computers, it is inevitable that an online clock will be present. There are both advantages and disadvantages to this situation.

Advantages of online clocks:It can allow people to remain focused, because they know that they only have a certain amount of time to complete a certain task. For example, your boss might ask you to complete an assignment by 2PM, when the assignment is given to you at 10AM. This gives you four hours. When you have an online clock on the screen while you are working, you always know exactly how much time you have left.

Another advantage of having an online clock is that it makes it easier to see when people get in and when they leave the office. Instead of having a system where people come and go as they please, you can have a simple entry/exit sign in/sign out program on the computer. This will allow the boss (and employers) to see exactly when they are leaving. No employee can say they did not know what time it was, as the time will be on the online clock as they are signing in or signing out.

Disadvantages of online clocks:

Everything has a downside, and online clocks are no different. When you are constantly staring at a clock to see when the time passes, it can be a way of slowing down the work you do. Some may begin to stare at the clock at 11:30, and wait until it reaches 12:00 and their lunch hour. This means they have lost half an hour when they practically did nothing. The same may happen around 5:00 or 5:30, when people just want to go home. They will stare at the clock till it reaches the time they are allowed to leave. So, instead of working until the moment they leave, they are spending time staring at a clock.

At the end of the day, there are more advantages to having an online clock system at your business then to not have it at all. After all, the people who are going to stare at the clock will probably be unproductive workers anyway. The online clock not being there is not going to change that very much.
